Alpine launches Alpine Eyewear, high-end glasses made in France. Designed to offer visual comfort and enhance the experience behind the wheel of the A110, Alpine Eyewear is available with corrective, clear and sun protective lenses. Alpine Eyewear will appeal to those looking for style and sportiness and will be distributed globally through opticians and online.
Alpine Eyewear glasses
Alpine has partnered with 15-1 Diffusion, who specialise in high-end glasses, who will manage the design, manufacturing and distribution. For its lenses, Alpine Eyewear has partnered with French company Novacel, who develop high end lenses with unique colors.
Alpine Eyewear will release various collections with different materials, designs, and lenses. The Airlis Shock lenses are scratch resistant and easy to clean thanks to the super water resistant and oil resistant coatings.
Alpine Eyewear Première Edition
The first limited edition collection, named “Premiere Edition” is inspired by the A110 Première Edition. This collection uses elements of the A110: lightness, sportiness and everyday comfort, combining timeless style and a sporty touch.
Frames are made of brushed aluminum, the main material used in the A110 body. They will be available in black, Alpine blue and a brushed aluminum finish.
The design of the car is visible on the frame of the glasses, the arms bear the shape of the embossed doors, the Alpine logo appears on the hinges and the end of the arms resembles the quilting of the A110 seats. The glasses can also be customised as per the customer’s request.
Alpine Eyewear Première Edition will be available to order first for the A110 Premiere Edition customers from December 11th until January 6th. From January 6th, 2020, the remaining glasses will be available to the general public.
The glasses will be available from 279€.
Distribution will be through a network of partner opticians in France, and globally as well as on the website: www.alpine-eyewear.com
For the Premiere Edition Eyewear, customers can order via www.alpine-eyewear.com. If the customer orders sunglasses without optical correction, the glasses will be delivered directly to their home. If a medical correction is needed, the glasses will be sent to partner opticians. In France, the partner for the Premiere Edition is Atol les Opticians.
