The GT4, designed to be more of a family vehicle than its predecessors was created in 1962. A 2+2 format, the GT4 was essentially, an A108 with two rear seats. Elegant with its streamlined headlights, Jean Rédélé’s goal was to make the GT4 more liveable and better balanced than the A108. In order to make this happen, the wheelbase increased by 170mm compared to the berlinette to 2,270mm.
